Do you know the story of my organic Swiss chocolate chip cookies?
That's what I thought, so let me guide you... I'm taking you into the incredible galaxy of my little cookies.
Take a beautiful summer afternoon, when it's too hot to
lounge around in the valley, a funicular from Saint-Luc, and an Agathe who dreams of rediscovering her solar system... and you have the very first inspiration for your organic star chocs!
So off I went, straw hat on my head,
lemon slices slung over my shoulder, and hiking boots on my feet for the
Planetary Trail. I'd often heard about the Star Station and its hike through the solar system, so this time I decided to embark on a journey to the center of the universe!
First stop, the funicular! I'm not even on the trail yet and my head is already
in the clouds in the air! Sensitive souls, abstain... it's steep. Once I arrived in Tignousa, I finally took the long-awaited path and ventured into unknown
lands planets. It's fun, well explained, and the planets are presented proportionally to their actual sizes and distances in space. There are even audio explanations to understand everything (and a
planet hunt for children which, of course, I hastened to do!).
A perfectly clear afternoon where I met other adventurers like me who were going to an astronomical evening event! Without a second thought, I joined them, and as we all observed these beautiful stars twinkling in the sky... I thought they would make a nice impression on cookies!
And that's how the idea for my star chocs was born!
As soon as I came back down, I got to work making these little Swiss chocolate chip cookies. First, I found the main ingredient, delicious organic Swiss chocolate, then all the good ingredients I had in mind: wheat flour, churned butter, free-range eggs, and even a pinch of salt for good measure. And to top it all off, all Swiss and organic!
The result (I'll spare you the
failed attempts): a deliciously crunchy sablé biscuit, perfect chocolate chips, the essential touch of salt, and butter that melts in your mouth for a moment that transports you to the moon... or rather, among the stars with these little shooting chips!
